Design Brief
I will be producing a graphical representation of a complex scientific concept. More specifically, I will create a video about Ribeiroia Ondatrae. This video will explain the life cycle of Ribeiroia Ondatrae as well as stating its hosts. The video will also talk about the effect of Ribeiroia ondatrae on one of its host. The problem was to develop a SciVis video that demonstrates the life cycle of Ribeiroia Ondatrae and its effect on its mutated host. This will be completed by creating a script which keeps the audience intrigued, but also displaying the necessary information. I have done this by writing the script based off styles and tones used by previous SciVis winners and Animal Planet's documentaries. I have all so completed extensive research on Ribeiroia Ondatrae by watching videos on it and reading numerous scientific journal entries. This video will be created using Maya and Mudbox. I will also learn about story boarding and scripting in order to solve this problem. The target audience is the student body.
